Credentialing

Join the Forster Private Hospital team as a Visiting Medical Officer.

Healthe Care is committed to developing trusting relationships with staff, and partnering with medical practitioners as a key strategy in the ongoing development of our health care services.

We use Equifax eCredentialing Platform which is a web-based system that allows Medical Officers, Dental Officers, Allied Health Practitioners and Other Health professionals to maintain a credentialing profile that can be applied across multiple facilities, reducing the need for duplication with each new site.

The Equifax system provides a secure platform to allow entry and maintenance of practitioners’ credentials. It provides clinicians, administrators, convenors and executives a comprehensive view of progress throughout the credentialing process.

How to apply for credentialing:

  1. Create and/or update your profile by going to: https://www.mercury.com.au/credentialing/
  2. Contact the executive office via [email protected] with your name, AHPRA number and which area (specialty/scope of practice) you are seeking credentialing for. The hospital EA will be in touch and send you the eCredentialing invitation via Equifax.
  3. Accept the invitation to apply with Forster Private Hospital, ensuring all additional fields and attachments are attended as requested. Your application will be assessed by the Credentialing Committee, who meet on a quarterly basis.
