Medical Advisory Committee

Part of the governance structure, our Medical Advisory Committee ensures clinical services, procedures and interventions are provided by competent medical practitioners.

Our Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) has representatives from each specialty group and consists of:

  • The Chief Executive Officer / Director of Clinical Services
  • Medical Services Director and/or Healthe Care Executive Member 
  • Representatives from the following specialist groups:
    • General Surgery
    • Oncology
    • Ophthalmology
    • Orthopaedic Surgery
    • Physician
    • General Practitioner


The committee is also supported by an Executive Assistant. Meetings are held quarterly.
